About me…

I studied to become a marine officer but ended up with a Bachelor Degree in Industrial Design and Socials Sciences. Since I made my first pattern and sewn my first garment by the age of 15 ,It would be years later that I pursued my true passion – Fashion Design. 

I’ve graduated from Montreal's Haute Couture Cotnoir Capponi School of Design. Subsequently I earned a RTW certificate in Italian Tailoring Men & Women from Pierre Dupuy in Montreal. Soon afterwards, I ran my own design studio where I created exclusive styling and patternmaking .  I also provided actual samples and eventually graded patterns. I specialized in sportswear , outerwear and created a few skiwear collections for both men and women.

Due to client demand, I created a system of “tech-specs” for overseas production, which at that time only a few companies were able to do well. Under “Ateliers Dodeman,” the tech specs were successful and led me overseas to work with fabric mills and factories. I continued working with import production as the head designer for a major fashion company. Eventually, my work brought me to New York City where I pursued my dreams on a bigger stage.

Got a position in the Outerwear field for Bernardo USA as Head Designer for Women & Men.

Then Calvin Klein Outerwear as Head Designer for the Men’s division.

Thereafter Fu-Da International under the TeVerde label; Yoga-Spa-Lounge Lifestyle .This is where I developed my expertise in Activewear & Performance along with Athleisure & Elevated Casual. Also was involved into Private Label & Price Point programs.

In 2023 I’ve launched ; DODEMAN STUDIO . A service company that provides supports to clients to expand their Brand & Business with Design & Product development and Merchandising expertise.

Sustainability…

I studied Eco Fashion at F.I.T. New York. As a nature lover and outdoor enthusiast this mindset was an eye opener for me. I realized eco-sustainable in the fashion practice was an awakening movement that brought a more responsible attitude and practice toward our environment.

I’m looking forward to work with like-minded people and companies in a thriving and responsible way, build products that are within a sustainable and circularity practice along with successful financial growth.
